FAQ
What is included in the price?
The price of each session includes photography, editing and delivery of digital images, travel within our included travel radius and access to our client closet.
All session prices (excluding Weddings) cover 5 participants - each additional participant will add $25 to the price of the package.
eg Family of 5 along with 2 Grandparents = $400 ($350 session fee + $25 each for the 6th and 7th person).
How do I book my session?
Head to the "bookings" tab on our main menu, choose your session and go from there!
Are digital images included in the cost of my session?
Yes!
Once the images have been edited you will be sent a personalised link to your online album. From there the images are yours to download and share - high resolution and no watermarks!
How many photos will we receive?
This depends on the type of session you’ve booked and whether (in the case of a wedding) you have booked 1 or 2 photographers. You will always receive ALL of the edited images - no additional fees, no need to try and choose a limited number. ALL the best images will be edited and yours to keep at no extra cost!
How should we dress for our family session?
Depending on your session type and theme, we’ll discuss some ideas for outfits and colours - please ask for a copy of our free wardrobe guide if you would like additional pointers.
We also have a client wardrobe of dresses available to use at no extra cost.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
If we're talking about the sleepy newborn type of photos we recommend having your session in the first two weeks - however, don't stress if they are older, the results are still gorgeous.
A newborn sunset session or an intimate lifestyle session in your own home.
What if our house isn't very photogenic?
Your house is your home, that’s what makes it special and of sentimental value. Yet, if you feel more comfortable in picking an outdoor location or an airbnb - we can.
What happens if it is raining on the day of my session?
In the instance of light showers the session will go ahead, the beautiful clean light and fresh drops look amazing - bring a couple of umbrellas and lets have some fun in the puddles!
There will be some instances where the weather will be too severe for the session to go ahead - in these cases we can either reschedule or swap to a lifestyle session in the comfort of your own home.
*please note that mini sessions are unable to be run as lifestyle sessions and will be rescheduled.
Do you travel outside the Canberra and Southern NSW region for photoshoots?
Yes, we sure do. While Canberra, Goulburn and the Southern Highlands are our main area of work, we are happy to discuss any photoshoots around Australia. Sessions occurring outside of the Goulburn Region may be subject to an additional travel fee.
Depending on the location, additional accommodation and travel costs may apply. All this is discussed individually as part of the booking process.
How do I make sure my kids will smile in our photos?
The short answer - you can't guarantee they will smile - and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that!
As parents ourselves, we understand that sometimes kids just do not want to smile - after all it's not everyday that someone they have never met shows up with a big black camera and starts taking photos of their family.
There are some things you can do to help, you can talk to your kids about the upcoming photos, get them involved in planning a memory that you would like to create together, maybe they want to sit on Daddy's shoulders, play and chase each other around or have a big ,squishy, family cuddle.
Some tricks we use with our own kids are tickles, 'serious face' and just doing something else.
One of our favourite photos is the one that you see at the top of our website homepage - there were no smiles on the horizon, so we took the pressure off, started picking flowers and hunting for bugs, and that's when it happened....
